Temporary home studio part IV
Featuring Sarah Lemzaoui 4th session, all portraits, same gear, and location, I am just mixing up the ingredients at this point... and learning from other sessions. This is common, when I do multiple photoshoots in the same location 2, 3 days in a row. The first 2 are usually the ones where I mess up the most, and the last one or two are the ones where I am more efficient.

Temporary home studio part III
Featuring Erica D. Part I and Part II are available on YouTube and of course here on the blog. This 3rd session with Erica, ultimately couldn’t have been published on YouTube. There is not enough footage according to my standards, and the images we got may not be suited for YouTube anyway.

Quick improvised Ballerina photoshoot
A short session Feat. Juliette Baud I love unplanned sessions, this one was a really quick one with the young and talented Juliette Baud. I was in Strasbourg for a short trip and this was my 3rd photoshoot that day. I would have placed it for another day, but she wasn't available, and I didn't know If I would be able to meet with her again later this year. Before you dive into this one, I just officially launched my GIVEAWAY on Instagram with my partner Thinktank.fr:

BTS Yoga Photoshoot (Extended)
Featuring Sandy Océane I received a few comments, messages, and people asking me if I enjoyed the freedom of shooting with very little gear. The answer is yeah, I got used to it, I shoot more, faster and the relationship with the model is different. I don’t know how long this will last, as long as I enjoy it I guess, as long as people ask for it.

BTS Portrait photoshoot (Extended)
Feat. Paolina Last but not least, this is Paolina's extended Behind-the-scenes video. You might be here because the Youtube version didn't suffice, or just because you are a Premium member. This was the longest session we made inside this Haussmannian apartment. What was supposed to be a simple portrait session became a little more than that, because of her beautiful costumes. She had to bring them with her once again, and once I saw them I just couldn't resist.

BTS Portrait photoshoot (Extended)
Feat. Nina Portalier 4 out of 5, this is Nina's extended Behind-the-scenes video. I said it in my previous posts, I will only share parts of this in the Youtube version. This is the shortest session I made in this Haussmannian apartment situated in the center of Toulouse. It was my first time working with Nina aspiring French actress, and I hope to be able to meet up with her again this summer for future Film productions. We did improvise a bit, nothing was really prepared be

For better or for worse...
Changing my methods, was it a good idea? One of the many reasons I still keep up with the blog. It’s to share this type of session. I decided to completely change my approach for a big part of this photoshoot. I even did the opposite of what I usually do. For the fun, challenge, lesson, and everything that might happen before, during, and after. A few weeks later I finally took the time to review the files, Choose the ones we liked with Clara, and retouch a few for the blog.

BTS Contortion and colored smoke
Lost & Found session with Maeva K. This photo shoot is from February 28, 2021! I don't know why, but the making-of footage got lost... and I found it again a little while ago while cleaning up my hard drives. You've probably already seen some of these images, as I shared them on Instagram 2 years ago. It felt weird to dive back into that session. If you've been following me for a while, you'll definitely notice the detail that proves this shoot is a bit dated... My Broncolor

Behind the scenes Dance portraits
Feat. Isabelle Ménard at the Grand Hôtel de l'opéra Since she left the Capitole de Toulouse ballet company, we didn't have a lot of opportunities to meet again. I don't even want to count the years, but it's been a while since our first session. A lot happened since then, and it showed during this session. Something more intimate, no pressure, all the ingredients for a fun session. What I love about Isabelle is that although a few years have passed, it always feels like yeste

Less is more...
Urban portraits with Eva Maureille "Less is more", is my motto these days. I constantly needed more on many of my photography projects over the past 3 years. I hit the ceiling not so long ago, realizing that I was unable to only make large-scale projects all the time. But more importantly, I learned recently how much I went overboard so many times. A few past projects could have been developed and materialized with less gear and better preparation. This may sound odd to you i

Going with the flow
Urban portraits with Charline Poncin It is our 2nd time working together, and I really hope it will not be our last. We almost didn't make this one happen. Busy schedules for both of us and just before the session she twisted her ankle! So I had to adapt and rethink things a bit, but still, we easily managed to make this urban portrait session work. A simple session, with only one camera, one lens, and both us... and the unpredictable weather of Toulouse!

Home studio boudoir
Behind-the-scenes video Feat. Ophélie F. Kind of a throwback... I found these files sleeping inside my hard drive and thought I'd make a quick edit and share the footage and final images with you. I only posted a few on Instagram back in 2021, and for unknown reasons didn't post the others. While digging those out I found other sessions that I never shared before, so please tell me in the comments if you want more of these in the future on the blog.

Behind-the-scenes portrait photoshoot
"home sessions" feat. Charlotte [Extended cut] I wasn’t sure how I wanted to release this one, that’s why it took me so long. You’ve seen bits of it in my review of the PROAIM apple boxes , and first impressions on the Freewell Prism filters . This photo shoot was a revelation for me. Even though working with continuous led lights may in some instances be the best choice, I realized that I was much more comfortable working with flashes for my photography. That is why I still,

Behind the scenes potrait photoshoot
"home sessions" feat. Clara C. Better late than never! I changed my mind a thousand times before releasing this one and charlotte's Behind the scenes video (on the way). The reason for my struggle was that we tested too many different things during these home sessions, and I thought it would be too confusing just to release them in full. In the end, Maeava's session was released a few days ago without the images made with Freewell's Prism filters. The following content is C

Behind-the-scenes portrait & boudoir
"home sessions" feat. Emma H. Back in my tight space, where I am thankful for not being claustrophobic. The only advantage I have working at home is that I have all my accessories and gear with me… and I can sip a cup of coffee or tea While I am shooting. Other than that, If I do anything outside portraits, things will become tricky, and If I work with more than 2 lights, then the headache is right around the corner. Joined by Emma once again let's find out how we made it wo
