Temporary home studio part IV
Featuring Sarah Lemzaoui 4th session, all portraits, same gear, and location, I am just mixing up the ingredients at this point... and learning from other sessions. This is common, when I do multiple photoshoots in the same location 2, 3 days in a row. The first 2 are usually the ones where I mess up the most, and the last one or two are the ones where I am more efficient.

BTS Portrait photoshoot (Extended)
Feat. Paolina Last but not least, this is Paolina's extended Behind-the-scenes video. You might be here because the Youtube version didn't suffice, or just because you are a Premium member. This was the longest session we made inside this Haussmannian apartment. What was supposed to be a simple portrait session became a little more than that, because of her beautiful costumes. She had to bring them with her once again, and once I saw them I just couldn't resist.

Behind the scenes Dance portraits
Feat. Isabelle Ménard at the Grand Hôtel de l'opéra Since she left the Capitole de Toulouse ballet company, we didn't have a lot of opportunities to meet again. I don't even want to count the years, but it's been a while since our first session. A lot happened since then, and it showed during this session. Something more intimate, no pressure, all the ingredients for a fun session. What I love about Isabelle is that although a few years have passed, it always feels like yeste

Less is more...
Urban portraits with Eva Maureille "Less is more", is my motto these days. I constantly needed more on many of my photography projects over the past 3 years. I hit the ceiling not so long ago, realizing that I was unable to only make large-scale projects all the time. But more importantly, I learned recently how much I went overboard so many times. A few past projects could have been developed and materialized with less gear and better preparation. This may sound odd to you i

Going with the flow
Urban portraits with Charline Poncin It is our 2nd time working together, and I really hope it will not be our last. We almost didn't make this one happen. Busy schedules for both of us and just before the session she twisted her ankle! So I had to adapt and rethink things a bit, but still, we easily managed to make this urban portrait session work. A simple session, with only one camera, one lens, and both us... and the unpredictable weather of Toulouse!

Home studio boudoir with RGB led lights
Behind the scenes video Feat. Mira Rosa It took me a while to get used to these tube led lights. IT took me approximatively 2 months to understand them, and to actually find a way to use them in my work. I am not quite there yet, but I am getting close. The shape, the size, the output of these lights can be a challenge at first, espescially when you are used to working with flashes. But they offer new possibilities, that I cannot ignore. So I had to regularly work with them,

Portrait & Boudoir Home session
Feat. Charlotte R. This summer I did a few private "home" sessions and I rediscovered the joy and pain of setting up a temporary studio inside someone else's home. I have a few tricks to make up for the lack of space, but I recently discovered a new way to hang a back drop. For this sesion, I used 2 suction cups from ifootage, 2 spider crabs (magic arms) and a Manfrotto to hang my backdrop from 2 windows. It held the weight pretty well, so I decided to use this technique ever
